Acting
A.J. Newman is an Actor/Musician currently living in Brooklyn, New York. A.J. is a senior in Pace University's International Performance Ensemble acting program, through which he has had the opportunity to study theatre abroad at the Institute of the Arts in Barcelona, and The Grotowski Institute in Wroclaw.
Recent Projects
A.J. has performed/devised original works as an actor on the stage at: Theatre Row, Dixon Place, IofA Barcelona, and Pace University; and on films directed by: Jacob Kessler, Aly Brier, Mark Gallo, and Garrett Stivers.
Elijah Would/Willowdell
A.J. has performed original music (vocals/saxophone) with bandmate Ray Johnson, under the name Willowdell, in Central Park, Coney Island Baby, and Arlene's Grocery. As well as produced original music (accessible via music streaming apps), utilizing his skills in singing/rapping, composition, lyricism, songwriting, and multi-instrumentalism under the moniker, Elijah Would.
